Who needs Rape-aXe? YOU DO!!

Rape is a potential threat to EVERY woman in the world, whether you live in an affluent suburb or a neighborhood fraught with criminal activity. Sexual assault can be perpetrated by strangers but it is usually acted out by individuals whom the victim knows well.

A wide range of sexually violent acts can take place in different circumstances and settings. Consequently, there are numerous situations in which you may consider using Rape-aXe to better protect yourself.

  • Some of these include:

    • Rape as a violent crime by a stranger
    • Date rape / drug rape
    • Unwanted sexual advances or sexual harassment, including demanding sex in return for favours;
    • Hazardous professions for employees or volunteers in prisons, mental institutions, drug treatment centers, schools, hospitals, homeless shelters, bartenders, hospitality workers, taxi or delivery drivers, etc.
    • Rape by intimate partners in a marriage or dating relationship
    • Child molestation / involuntary incest
    • Rape of women in the military by comrades or enemy combatants
    • Systematic rape of civilians during armed conflict;
    • Rape of international aid workers, such as Peace Corp workers, USAID or those working in operations in hostile environments
    • Rape of urban homeless women and girls
    • Sexual abuse of mentally or physically disabled people;
    • Rape in regions of the world where women are not treated as equals and women’s rights are not respected
    • Rape in areas undergoing post-disaster aid / refugee camps

    It’s important to note that in ALL of these categories, the reported incidences of rape are severely under-reported due to the nature and sensitivity of the crime, and the fact that authorities may not believe the victim or that she has “no proof.”

    Rape -aXe can change this!

    NO MORE  “he said” / “she said”!

      1. Women everywhere needs these. I need these. PLEASE

        But all women everywhere should have access to this device. It should be available at the pharmacy counter upon request. I hope you can raise all the money you need for the new and improved prototype. This device hands police most of the genetic information they need to convict a rapist.

      2. Dear Di, We could not agree with you more…. we get requests from women all over the globe asking us to send them VenusGuard. It is incredibly frustrating for me to have to tell them “Sorry, we are out of stock until we get a new production line set up.”

        They are obviously asking for VenusGuard because they are in a bad or dangerous situation.

        In the simplest of terms, we could be sending out product in a few months, once we get the financial support we need. Please help to continue to spread the message, and donate generously TODAY to help women everywhere!

  3. this has been a prototype for how long?? I mean the donations are clearly going to all the right places… Why not cut the crap and let women buy the damn thing already?

    1. Dear Samantha, admittedly there have been many delays in this development, and I fully agree that it should have NEVER taken this long. The primary cause of the delays has been, and still is, the lack of funding. All of tooling required to manufacture Rape-aXe is custom made to order, complicated and VERY expensive. Based on feedback from users, we have been through multiple design interations to improve the product function. Each of these require new sets of tooling. Of the 310,000 USD that we were trying to raise via crowdfunding , we only received 51,000 USD. In spite of this, we still tried to advance the project by paying for the development expenses from the salary from my “day” job ( I have never taken 1 $ from donations from Rape-aXe). The short story is, if we get funding, we can rapidly launch Rape-aXe. If we don’t it will continue, but limp along at a much slower pace.

  4. why is this not a product that everyone is investing in? I’ve never seen an advertisement for this before! What does your team look like for this project? I’d love to help!

    1. Hello Valencia, The “team” is only me ( Vince) at this point and time. There are no other staff or employees. I am running Rape-aXe on a shoestring budget, with the little donations I have received, and subsidizing with what I make from my “real” job. So , no I have not spent anything on marketing or advertising. I would certainly welcome any offer of assistance from you or any of our supporters. Please let me know what you have in mind and what you want to do? ” why is this not a product that everyone is investing in?” I ask myself this daily, and I don’t have any good answer for you. I do know there are MANY people who do NOT want Rape-axe to be released, and have thrown repeated roadblocks in my path… but I am not giving up. Let’s chat and see how we can cooperate.

    1. Dear Teyss,

      Sad to say it but we get a lot of lipservice and praise, but people don’t open their purse and contribute. We have over a 100,000 visitors to the site , 80,000 followers on Facebook, 8000 followers on IG, plus more on X, Blueshy, tiktok, …. if everyone donated 5 USD we would already be in production and have excess cash to give product away to the needy women in poorer areas. Talk is cheap. “Likes” don’t pay the bills.

  5. I Think maybe if some products could be buy individually, even at higher price, it could be fund the rest of the production and create a “marketing effect” because buyers talk to other future buyers…

    1. Hello Mandy, I agree with you and I wish that was possible, but it is an “all or none” situation with the molds and assembly equipment. We cannot make more samples without some very specialized and expensive molds and assembly equipment, so we are limited in what we can produce until a “basic” production line is set up. This will cost about 370,000 USD to get up and running. We already have a location and OEM supplier shortlisted, but we need to provide the tools. We appreciate any support you can provide to help to make this a reality for needy women everywhere.
